About The Position
Senior Radiation Therapist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour, Day shift. Responsible for assisting the manager by ensuring adequate flow of patient care through the Radiation Oncology department. Identifies and solves patient problems, contributes to self-development and leadership by teaching and supervising co-workers and students. This position requires the ability to interact with other departments within the Cancer Center. Collaborates with others and seeks direction from supervisor or others as needed. Requirements
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification, or
- Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy
- 2 years Radiation Therapist experience in a clinical setting.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years experience in a fast paced Radiation Oncology department.
