The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Discipline organization is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE). The SPY-6 Family of Radars and GhostEye Family of Radars are seeking a Senior Radar Systems Engineer to help in the execution of integration and analysis activities. This position can be located in either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA and may require occasional travel.

  • Development of concepts of operations for radar systems
  • Radar processing algorithm development
  • Radar software requirements development
  • Statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data
  • Analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution
  • Collaboration with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
  • Presentation of findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with MATLAB/Python/C++
  • Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures
  • Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments
  • Design experience in radar system areas such as antenna, receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning
  • Requirements development experience, including use of DOORS
  • Experience with technical writing and oral presentations
  • Masters/PhD in a STEM field
