About The Position

The Senior R&D Scientist—Project Lead will work with a team of scientists providing advanced material solutions to the semiconductor industry. Responsibilities include: 1. Leading the team on design and synthesize new organic and inorganic EUV lithography photoresist platforms. a. Search and design novel photoresist platforms with different chemical mechanism. b. Synthesis and characterize photoresist materials. c. Provide synthesis and purification solutions to help other team members. 2. Design and prepare formulations to complete the fundamental investigation on synthesized novel photoresist materials. a. Collect the physical and chemical data for photoresist materials. b. Screening the formulations through coating test on different underlayers. c. Screening the chemicals through exposure tool as E-beam and other light sources. 3. Provide the formulations candidates to the testing team and systematically investigate the performance of photoresist formulations. 4. Work along with the data analyst to build up the database and extrapolate the guidance for the future development. 5. Understand the demands from customers to optimize the formulations and synthesis new photoresist materials to meet their requirements. 6. Present and publish developments on our EUV photoresist platforms at conference as SPIE to explore potential customers. 7. Work along with legal team to complete literature search and file patents on our developed materials to protect our intellectual properties. 8. Maintain all lab equipment with the ability to diagnose the issue and perform the simple repair.

Requirements

  • Employer requires a PhD in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field and at least three (3) years of work experience in EUV photoresist with chemical synthesis and analysis in organometallic chemistry or coordination chemistry.
