We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior QuickSight Report Analyst to lead the development, optimization, and management of dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight. This role will work closely with stakeholders across business units to transform data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence. You will be responsible for owning the QuickSight reporting environment, designing efficient and visually compelling reports, ensuring data integrity, and mentoring junior analysts in best practices for data visualization and analysis.

  • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards, KPIs, and analytical reports using Amazon QuickSight.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
  • Build and optimize SPICE datasets, SQL queries, and data pipelines to support report performance and scalability.
  • Partner with data engineers and architects to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on QuickSight, advocating for its best practices and efficient usage across the organization.
  • Create documentation for report specifications, metadata definitions, and data lineage.
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on data storytelling and QuickSight functionality.
  • Stay updated on new QuickSight features and AWS BI ecosystem advancements.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight, including SPICE data modeling and dashboard development
  • Strong SQL skills and experience querying large datasets from cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Athena)
  • Proven ability to design visually effective, user-friendly dashboards
  • Experience working in Agile or fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into data solutions
  • Experience with AWS ecosystem tools (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue)
  • Familiarity with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Background in data warehousing or ETL processes
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices
