About The Position

Fourlane is seeking a Senior QuickBooks Implementation & Accounting Advisory Consultant to deliver high-impact accounting system implementations, financial consulting, and client advisory services. This role blends advanced accounting expertise, ERP/financial systems consulting, and client-facing project leadership. You will work directly with clients to stabilize, optimize, and scale financial systems, providing hands-on support across QuickBooks, Acumatica, and NetSuite environments. Consultants in this role maintain strong billable utilization, manage complex engagements, and contribute to high client satisfaction and retention. Fourlane consultants are deeply involved in real client projects, including: System implementations, conversions, and migrations (e.g., QuickBooks Online Advanced transitions, multi-entity consolidations) QuickBooks file rebuilds and data cleanup, repairing corrupted or bloated files and restoring reliable financial reporting Workflow and process redesign to improve efficiency across accounting and operations teams Client training and enablement to ensure systems continue working long after implementation You’ll see the direct impact of your work - and your role will grow as your skills do.

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of relevant accounting or consulting experience
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
  • Experience with our technology tools, including Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online, to streamline workflows, automate processes, and optimize efficiency.
  • This is a fully remote role. However, you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Software Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in a range of financial software including but not limited to QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Acumatica and NetSuite
  • Team Management: Showcase past success in managing small teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support to team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel knowledge to analyze financial data, create insightful reports, and drive informed decision-making for clients
  • Design and Implement Accounting Processes: Build and improve accounting workflows to streamline operations and enhance productivity
  • Lead System Implementations & Conversions: Manage system transitions to ensure seamless execution and long-term success
  • Project Management: Independently lead small-scale projects from initiation through completion
  • Client-Facing Consulting: Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • QuickBooks Training & Consultation: Provide hands-on training, troubleshooting, and optimization support
  • Financial Operational Support: Conduct file assessments, maintain reconciliations, and assist with month-end close
  • Secondary Project Support: Collaborate as a secondary project manager on larger initiatives
  • Client File Management: Maintain accurate and organized client records
  • Client Engagement & Growth: Schedule and conduct client training sessions and ongoing services
  • Communication: Maintain strong written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams
  • Billable Utilization: Maintain a 90% billable utilization rate
  • Time Tracking: Accurately log billable and non-billable hours in the CRM
  • Time Management and Calendar Maintenance: Effectively manage your work calendar to optimize availability and facilitate company awareness of your schedule.
  • Autonomous Client Management: Independently oversee client relationships, demonstrating initiative and proactiveness in delivering exceptional service.
  • Utilization of Technology Tools: Leverage technology tools, including Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online, to streamline workflows, automate processes, and optimize efficiency.
