About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Quality Technician to help elevate the quality and performance of our Gear products through hands‑on inspection, testing, and data‑driven problem solving. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive product inspections, analyze results, and recommend improvements that enhance quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will review and investigate quality exceptions, prepare detailed reports for leadership and suppliers, and actively participate in meetings to present findings and drive decision‑making. This position leads return and complaint analysis, identifies root causes, recommends corrective actions, and coordinates responses to production issues. You will monitor scrap trends, support continuous improvement efforts, and deliver quality training to ensure standards and SOPs remain current and effective. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on product excellence while partnering closely across operations to uphold Acushnet’s high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years as a Quality Technician or in a QA role, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment
  • Demonstrated training, analytical, and facilitation skills
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement teams
  • 20/20 vision required
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong data analysis abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred
  • ERP system experience preferred
