About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for a Senior Quality Systems Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX. Position Responsibilities: Develop and maintain AQMS program to comply with various regulatory/quality standards and BDI quality initiatives. Develop and train BDI employees on requirements of AQMS companies. Assist in developing a document control program to create, review and approve procedures. Administer the internal audit program. Schedule QMS internal audits for Dallas facility, develop individual audit plans, select audit team, perform audits, compile audit report, and issue corrective actions accordingly. Administer corrective and preventive action programs. Establish criteria for non-conformance review board, frequency of reviews, and actions from reviews. Participate in One Boeing Quality initiatives by providing input from BDI. Ensure complex certification requirements are communicated, propose solutions and course of action for roadblocks, along with risks associated with changes. Perform contract review of proposal and contracts. Conduct quality source selection and process capability assessments of suppliers’ ability to meet quality commitments. Monitors and reports performance metrics and recommend/implements process improvements for Quality, Supplier Performance, Customer Complaints, and Internal Processes for existing processes and for new contracts using various forums and tools. Conducts in-depth quality analysis and test/inspections of quality control programs to ensure compliance. Identifies and recommends areas where programs need revision. Performs analysis and leads audits. Manage and analyze customer claims. Lead and mentor team members. Lead special projects as assigned. Exercise judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Work under minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a dedicated QMS role
  • 2+ years of experience AS9100 lead auditing role
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
  • This position may require traveling up to 10% of the time.
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
