About The Position

The Senior Quality Operations Leader will be responsible for enhancing the C&SC Quality Strategic Action Plan, MORs, WORs, developing strategic actions aligned with tactical projects to meet and exceed the part family metrics. In this role, you will provide leadership and coaching on strategic quality initiatives for the C&SC teams to drive a shift to Zero Defect Quality Culture in the areas of root-cause corrective action (RCCA), process improvement through digital solutions, process capability and data analytics for the C&SC Quality team. Customer facing communication of quality performance and enhancements for C&SC. You will design and deliver training solutions around these initiatives and develop comprehensive knowledge and utilize expertise to support the part family and site implementation of the quality action plans. This role is for an individual contributor, who is expected to work cross-functionally to lead the C&SC Quality Improvement initiatives. Additionally, in this role you will: Increase the strategic vision of the part family by working closely with the part family Lean Leader, Finance leader, and Chief Manufacturing Engineer and with the site QL’s to create actionable part family and site quality action plans to meet and exceed our metrics Support the integration of Flight Deck processes and Quality to optimize the use of Lean, Six Sigma and other quality tools. Monitor, coach and coordinate the delivery of training on topics such as At Point Problem Solving, RCCA, PFMEA, KATA, APQP, process improvements, MSA, capability studies and digital solutions. Leverage resources and knowledge from the Digital League and other part families. Develop deep understanding and capability to coach on SQDIP. Support the QL’s with the implementation of digital tools and provide vision for the implementation and adaptation of new tools to drive site and part family metric improvements. Provide expertise in analyzing learning needs, designing training solutions and launching the solutions into the plants. Serve internally and externally as a specialist and coach in the Quality discipline Present project plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders (EB and SEB) within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams. Communicate solutions across the quality organization and with cross-functional partner organizations. Work cross functionally with the supplier quality teams to develop quality improvements for supplied and vendor farmout hardware.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience) + minimum of 5 years manufacturing quality experience
