Requirements

Precision mechanical inspection, first article inspection, and receiving and in-process experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specification using ASME Y 14.5.
GD&T and skillful use of metrology tools and gages required.
Experience programming and operating a CMM as well as other QC inspection functions for precision machined components and assemblies
ESD protection and handling knowledge and awareness of electronic parts.
Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, microscopes, etc.
U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions.
High school diploma with minimum three (3) years of experience.

Nice To Haves

J-STD/IPC assembly, solder and inspection experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections of materials, electrical components, sub-assemblies, circuit card assemblies, and final products to assure conformance utilizing drawings, schematics, specifications and work instructions.
Ensure raw materials provided by suppliers meet contractual flow down requirements.
Generate and document approval or rejection labels, nonconforming reports, photographs, and or diagrams as part of the inspection review process.
Minimize down time by focusing on process proactive improvement opportunities and presenting them to management
