About The Position

The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for understanding and analyzing business requirements and technical specifications of enterprise applications, including web, mobile, and OTT streaming applications. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test planning and execution, as well as feature and functional testing to verify that each aspect of the application works as expected. The engineer will also maintain and utilize smoke and regression automation test scripts, identify and document defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution. Additionally, the role includes generating test reports and metrics, communicating test results to stakeholders, and participating in agile ceremonies with developers and product managers.

Requirements

• 5 - 10 years of experience in quality engineering.
• Mandatory skills in Accessibility Testing, API/Microservices RestAssured Testing, BrowserStack for Testing, Cloud Application Testing, CMS Testing, Mobility Testing (iOS, Android, Streaming), IOT Testing.
• Experience with Katalon-Groovy for Testing, Appium-C#, Appium-Java, Appium-Python, Katalon-Java, Selenium-C#, Selenium-Java, and Selenium-Python Testing.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze business requirements and technical specifications of enterprise applications.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Ensure that each feature and function of the application UI/UX/API works as expected by executing test cases manually or using automated tools.
• Maintain and utilize the smoke and regression automation test scripts developed.
• Identify, document, and report defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Generate test reports and metrics and communicate test results and findings to stakeholders.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members and participate in agile ceremonies.
