About The Position

Sr. Quality Engineer (QE) role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software systems by leading test strategy, building automation and partnering closely with development, devops, and product teams. This roles combines deep technical testing skill with strong systems thinking, risk analysis.

Requirements

  • Experience with scripting languages like JavaScript, C#, etc.to write test scripts and troubleshoot issues.
  • Proficient in test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
  • In depth understanding of Salesforce and experience testing in salesforce.
  • Testing complex CRM products, and thorough understanding of CRM architecture.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Test strategy and planning - ability to define test cases, test plans, and quality metrics.
  • Automation – ability to identify areas for test automation and work with the team to implement.
  • Mentoring – working with junior QE engineers to guide them in best testing practices, review team member’s test cases, and results.
  • Cross functional collaboration – collaborates closely with developers, product managers, and delivery managers to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout development.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) – Integrate automated test into CI/CD pipelines to ensure that quality checks are part of delivery process.
  • Bug Tracking & Reporting – identify, document, and track defects, ensuring thorough communication regarding severity and impact. Provide regular quality status reports to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management – analyze potential risks related to the quality and stability of the product and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
