About The Position

Senior Quality Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team located in Berkeley, MO! This position requires a Bachelor of Science from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Engineering Computer Science Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Mathematics Physics Chemistry Position Responsibilities: Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides interpretation of complex requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities. Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Develops and implements corrective actions. Performs bench-marking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under minimal direction. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • 5+ years of experience with quality Inspection and/or auditing
  • 5+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods
  • 5+ years of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
  • Active Security Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Department of Defense (DOD) contracts
