About The Position

As Regal’s Quality Engineer, you’ll be both a hands-on tester and a champion of quality across our technology ecosystem. You’ll design and maintain automation for iOS, Android, and web while promoting a “whole team quality” mindset — where everyone from developers to designers plays a part in ensuring a world-class guest experience. As a member of Regal’s Technology cast, you’ll: Lead initiatives that embed quality thinking across teams and throughout the development lifecycle. Coach and collaborate with developers and QA peers on testing best practices, TDD, BDD, and continuous improvement. Participate in design and code reviews, influencing testability and maintainability from the start. Build and maintain automated test suites for mobile (XCUITest, Espresso) and web (Playwright) platforms. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable feedback loops. Perform both automated and exploratory testing to validate functionality, performance, and security. Track key quality metrics like automation coverage, defect leakage, and release readiness. Stay ahead of new frameworks, CI/CD tools, and agile practices to keep Regal’s quality program cutting-edge. At Regal Cinemas, part of Regal Cineworld, every day is a celebration of storytelling. Requirements

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a knack for mentoring and influencing peers.
7+ years of software quality engineering experience, with strong automation skills.
A strong grasp of agile practices (TDD, BDD, CI/CD) and modern development pipelines.
Expertise in Playwright and at least one native mobile automation framework (XCUITest, Espresso, or UIAutomator).
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and familiarity with Swift, Kotlin, or Java.

Nice To Haves

Experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or device farms — plus knowledge of accessibility, performance, or security testing.
