We're seeking a dedicated Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining multiple quality management system elements in accordance with company needs, based on current regulations, and organize and promote companywide quality improvement efforts. Occasional travel to our Fiskdale, MA location is required.

Requirements

  • A four-year technical degree (or via previous work experience), preferably in a field that offers a well-rounded background.
  • Additional class work in problem-solving techniques (i.e., Statistical Quality Control/Statistical Process Control, Fishbone Diagrams, etc.) preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with ISO9001 and ISO 13485.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Working experience in metrology, PPAP, APQP, Control Plans and FMEA.
  • Efficient work habits and detailed organizational skills.
  • Cleanroom and other applicable Level III procedures.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Establish procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and safety.
  • Determine and enforce quality and safety requirements in accordance with company needs, based on current regulations.
  • Organize and promote companywide quality improvement efforts.
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the company quality system elements (Corrective Action, Continuous Improvement, Training).
  • Extract and analyze data, then formulate it into improvement action plans.
  • Work with teams for APQP process and new program launch.
  • Act as liaison with suppliers and customers on matters relating to quality when needed.
