About The Position

As a Senior Quality Associate , you will be part of a team that supports the manufacture, improvement and understanding of our veterinary diagnostic products. You will participate and contribute to a fast-paced technically-focused team, executing routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods on a variety of diagnostic platforms.  And, you’ll be making a difference by producing the innovative products that keep animals healthy. What you can expect in this role You will operate under 5S & Lean Manufacturing principles following ISO standards. You will work closely with teammates and representatives from the functional areas that we support and rely on to be successful. You will generate, document, and analyze data. You will prepare reagents and perform testing to qualify materials for use in manufacturing. You will participate on cross functional teams in problem solving. As part of the team, you’ll identify project opportunities, generating ideas and solutions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • You are a continuous learner who embraces a growth mindset.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and a successful track record working both individually and as part of a team.
  • You have strong time management ability and verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are proficient in documenting and analyzing test results and problem solving.
  • You have good PC skills, preferably MS Office.
  • You’ll be required to work first shift hours with most work performed in a laboratory setting.
  • You have the ability to see “blue” color.
  • You are able to meet the physical requirements that go with working in a production laboratory setting – sitting and/or standing for 2hr+, extended reach, extensive use of computer and paper to document results, extensive use of hands to manipulate parts for testing, lifting up to 50lb, occasionally climb, kneel, or bend, ability to communicate verbally on the phone and in person with fluency in the English language, and specific vision ability – close, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
