Serco North America is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position will be in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will provide Quality and Mission Assurance support for the CAF DMO Program. The QMA Engineer will have responsibility for ensuring product, process, and supplier requirements are met while achieving high levels of quality, customer satisfaction, program execution, and on-time delivery. The QMA Engineer will support all aspects of quality and mission assurance for the program. An Interim Secret security clearance is required prior to starting. In this role, you will:

  • Leading all quality processes for the program (e.g., audits, independent reviews, quality planning, quality documentation, vendors, parts, program corrective action tracking/reporting, program reporting)
  • Quality representation in program baseline management activities (e.g., Milestone Reviews, CCB, ERB, peer reviews, etc.)
  • Active participant in Program Management metrics, to include working with program team on making process improvements.
  • Perform document, drawings, CDRLs, and supplier reviews to ensure compliance with requirements and standards.
  • Perform Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) on hardware deliverables.
  • Generate program quality plan and report program Quality Metrics (as applicable)
  • Support in the Program Risk & Opportunity Management Board (ROMB) and processes (e.g., monthly risk meetings, monthly risk reporting, and PMRs)
  • Perform Program & Supplier Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis and drive corrective actions to closure.
  • Identify, lead, and participate in continuous improvement projects to improve quality, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and program profitability.
  • Generate and maintain program’s AS9100 Rev D compliance matrix.
  • Bachelors degree with 8 years of relevant work experience (or a Masters degree with 6 years of experience).
  • An Interim Secret security clearance is required prior to starting.
  • Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems environment
  • Must be able to multi-task and quickly adapt to change when issues arise
  • Strong background and expertise in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Must be able to plan, organize, and establish priorities related to an assignment and the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business/technical teams and external customers
  • Travel as required (minimal) up to 10%
  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or AS9100 Lead Auditor Trained/Certified.
  • Familiar with Cyber Security Process.
