About The Position

This role requires that the employee is a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder. The position involves providing day-to-day technical support and mentorship to Quality Engineers and Technicians to drive progress toward departmental objectives and maintain established quality standards. The individual will collaborate with the Director of Quality to align team efforts with strategic goals, assist in resource planning, and facilitate the distribution of workloads to ensure balanced contributions and optimal team performance. Responsibilities include coordinating and prioritizing quality-related activities, partnering with process owners to review and improve process controls, and assisting in the revision and optimization of quality procedures and documentation. The role also involves contributing to the development and implementation of inspection methods, analyzing team and process performance metrics, and supporting investigations into nonconformances. The individual will serve as a liaison with suppliers and customers, lead internal audits, and support external audits, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or a technical environment.
  • Practical experience leading ISO9001 based Quality Management Systems (AS9100 preferred).
  • Practical knowledge and application of risk-based thinking and common quality tools.
  • Able to interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications.
  • Comfortable working with data, documentation, and computer-based systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CQA or CQE are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal audits and drive follow-up activities.
  • Support and coordinate external audits.
  • Act as an onsite point of contact for customer visits or audits.
  • Contribute to ongoing quality system improvements.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Benefits

  • Salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 on an annual basis.
