About the position

Reporting to the Health Technology Development leadership team, the Senior QA Analyst will work on the software quality assurance team with a focus on manual and performance testing. This role is remote from within the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Do individual troubleshooting to determine/narrow down the root cause of an issue and demonstrate ability to troubleshoot without guidance using previous training and provided tools
  • Conduct manual testing techniques and methodologies
  • Use Test Management tools such as Jira Zephyr, QTest, or similar
  • Have understanding of both front-end and back-end web technologies such as HTTP, AJAX, XML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Read multiple system input/output files such as XML, JSon, Flat, 834, and 835
  • Be familiar with defect tracking tools like JIRA or similar
  • Be proficient in Oracle SQL and understanding of database concepts, and SQL Queries or any relational database (SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL)
  • Have familiarity with Oracle tools such as SQL Developer
  • Have experience with Linux operating systems, including command-line proficiency and shell scripting
  • Have experience with ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software QA with focus on manual and performance testing
  • Experience in manual and automation testing
  • Manual Testing - create test scripts and document all aspects
  • Develop and perform regression testing and end to end functional validation
  • Lead or work with Automation QA team to automate test cases
  • Experience looking through application log files / following stack trace
  • Identify data requirements for the respective test efforts
  • Understand requirements / acceptance criteria and create accurate test cases
