About The Position

BAE Systems in York, Pennsylvania is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Quality Analyst to support our Quality Management System team. As a Quality Analyst, you will make a significant impact in ensuring the effectiveness of our quality management system across the Combat Mission Systems site. You will work closely with the internal auditing team to analyze data, support root cause analysis, and track overdue actions and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a High School diploma (or GED or equivalent) and 8 years related work experience or the overall equivalent
  • Working knowledge in quality processes, procedures, and requirements
  • Good analytical skills
  • Effective communication written and verbal skills
  • Ability to communicate information and data via presentations
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and industry-related software

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree and 6 years related work experience, or Bachelor's Degree and 4 years related work experience, or Masters and 2 years related work experience
  • Experience with TIPQA software
  • Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and auditing standards
  • DoW industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in our quality management system, with the goal of driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support root cause analysis of quality-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely response and closure
  • Track and follow up on overdue actions and corrective actions issued by the internal auditing team, ensuring timely completion and closure
  • Maintain reports and dashboards to track QMS performance metrics, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making
  • Assist in the development and implementation of QMS procedures and policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Support QMS internal auditors with data analysis and audit execution, ensuring efficient and effective audit processes
