About The Position

Exential (Formerly Total Facility Solutions) is currently seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Inspector in Raleigh, NC. This role is responsible for inspections of installed or partially installed process piping systems and monitors the handling of materials in compliance with the site / project quality assurance program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 6+ years of experience
• Field quality inspection experience required
• Piping quality experience on semiconductor and pharmaceutical facility construction projects preferred
• American Society for Non-destructive Testing (ASNT) Level II required
• Experience in construction, process equipment or piping industries
• Must have had experience on construction sites

Nice To Haves

• Certified Welding Inspector a plus

Responsibilities

• Conducts and coordinates all activities required to successfully provide quality assurance for an individual project
• Attends coordination meetings with clients and project kick-off meetings
• Coordinates with TFS estimating team on bid reviews
• Performs project status reporting and customer relationship development
• Performs material inspections
• Performs weld inspections
• Performs installation inspections
• Conformance / non-conformance reporting
• Performs hydrostatic pressure tests
• Performs pneumatic pressure tests
• Performs inboard helium leak detection
• Performs outboard helium leak detection
• Performs particle sampling analysis
• Performs trace moisture and oxygen analysis
• Documents and archives per published Exential procedures
• Performs Borescope video inspections
• Creates Safety Observation Reports
• Other duties as assigned
