The Quality Assurance team owns the testing process, risk management, and quality evaluation of all products and functions across Epic. Our team works closely with developers and production to ensure the best possible user experience for our community and customers.

  • Work with developers, designers, production, product, and QA to define acceptance criteria, identify risks, plan test coverage, and execute against your plans
  • Examine gaps in test plan and approach, collaborating with geographically distributed teams to deliver the highest quality version of the store
  • Build and drive test strategies and execute test plans to cover multiple features in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Use QA skills to execute a variety of testing techniques across your product. Analyze the quality of said product while troubleshooting reported defects and internal issues
  • Test features and integrations across the Epic Game Launcher, mobile platforms, and web services
  • Solve problems through collaboration with the rest of the Epic Games Store team
  • 3+ years of professional QA experience in a software or game-testing environment
  • Experience testing software or proven track record in the QA space
  • Experience in cross-platform/cross-browser testing (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.) for dynamic web applications
  • Problem solving experience especially in technical environments utilizing debugging tools to investigate and report on results (Chrome Debug tools, etc)
  • Solid understanding of test methodologies, including automation, functional, end to end, accessibility, and performance against consistently iterative development
  • Ability to confidently collaborate with senior dev engineers for day-to-day testing requirements and collaboration
  • Ability to juggle, track, and complete multiple tasks
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders within a team (production, design, dev)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently collaborate with your immediate and partner teams
