As a member of our quality analyst team you will have a pivotal role within the software development and testing process, by upholding the quality and dependability of Tekmetric's web and mobile applications, products and services by performing manual and automated testing. Collaborating closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, the Senior QA Analyst will strive to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products to our customers.

  • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design documents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and functional specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of testing strategies aligned with project goals.
  • Determine the appropriate testing methodologies for specific projects.
  • Execute manual tests to identify defects, usability issues, and inconsistencies in software functionality.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.
  • Implement automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the QA team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test cases, test execution results, and defect reports.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • 5+ years of experience testing cloud web and mobile customer facing applications.
  • 2+ years of experience leading testing on a product area or feature.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Javascript/Typescript).
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured).
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud Products.
  • Payments Integration or FinTech experience.
  • Understanding of source control & devops tools (Github, Github Actions, Docker, Kubernetes).
