The Senior QA Analyst position is a hybrid role based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, requiring onsite presence 2-3 days per week. This position is initially set for a 4-month project, with a strong potential for extension based on performance and project needs. The Senior QA Analyst will be responsible for implementing and following established QA methodologies, ensuring adherence to processes and standards, and actively participating in an Agile environment. This includes involvement in sprint planning, providing QA estimates, and engaging in daily standups to ensure quality assurance is integrated throughout the development process. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality assurance with 5-8 years of experience. They will be expected to conduct ambiguity analysis, develop test scenarios and test cases, and be familiar with various testing techniques. Proficiency in test and defect management tools, particularly JIRA, is essential. The role requires advanced technical skills and the ability to offer recommendations for process improvements, as well as the capability to implement these changes effectively. The Senior QA Analyst should be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, often testing across multiple environments simultaneously. Additionally, the candidate should be prepared to fill the role of QA Lead as needed, demonstrating leadership and initiative within the team.
