About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer in an Infrastructure development organization with a goal to deliver automation solutions that enable a software driven Infrastructure environment. Requirements

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years Python development experience
  • 4+ years of Python unit test case development experience
  • 3+ years of Agile, CI/CD and DevOps experience
  • 2+ years of API development experience
  • 1+ years of cloud native application development experience (OpenShift, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automating infrastructure products a strong plus
  • SQL database experience
  • Microservices development experience
  • Experience in Backend development, API development
  • Strong & relevant experience in supporting Web/API platforms built using DJANGO, FastAPI, Apigee
  • Proficiency in dealing with Legacy infrastructure along with cloud infrastructure (OpenShift, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes)
  • Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, DB queries, Postman
  • Familiarity with data protection / cryptographic / key management infrastructure or load balancing services

Responsibilities

  • Participate in complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Understand and assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met
  • Participate in daily scrum activities and ceremonies
  • Escalation point for addressing production and non-production issues.
