About The Position

This role is for a Senior Pursuit Manager that is focused on the Water Solution Portfolio and will be responsible for driving Design Build pursuits and to help drive mega-pursuits for the Water Solutions group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage proposals that are Design-Build or large services scope and generally with medium to high-risk profiles. You will be responsible for pursuit management, coordination of proposals, interviews and negotiations leading to selection. Professionals in this role interface directly with the Client Account Management, Project Director and Project Manager, to develop the proposal execution strategy, schedule, assemble the proposal response team, and develop the project execution plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
• 8+ years of engineering, project execution or technical pursuit management experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical project execution field
• DB and Water experience is preferred
• Understanding of financial metrics including PGM, revenue, and overhead costs
• Commercial/business knowledge of contracts
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Technology - Leverages industry leading tools to facilitate proposal creation and tracking

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage pursuit positioning activities following lead identification
• Fostering understanding of client organization, buying patterns, project selection committee, influencers and political dynamics
• Manage proposal development from assignment to contract signing
• Responsible for budget, schedule, and quality of assigned proposals
• Ensure Company Wide Authority Matrix (CWAM) compliance and adherence with proposal process procedures
• Collaborate with the Client Account Manager and Project Management to implement the proposal strategy
• Facilitate proposal kick-off meeting and strategy meetings
• Ensure project management participation in proposal process
• Drive collaboration between pursuit team members and other shareholders
• Ensure accountability across the pursuit team; meet deadlines and drive schedule to achieve delivery requirements
• Continually evaluate risks of the project based on known and unknown information in collaboration with the team
• Drive review of Risk Register by Project Manager and Project Director
• Manage any proposals identified as Mega Project and coordinate all required process requirements
