About The Position
The Senior Maintenance Service Worker will take a leadership role in the City Graffiti Crew within the Parks & Landscape Division. This position is critical in maintaining the city's cleanliness and aesthetics by swiftly removing graffiti from public spaces. The focus will be on promptly addressing graffiti in the public right-of-way, ensuring the preservation of the city's image, and preventing vandalism from escalating. Furthermore, the Senior Maintenance Service Worker will oversee and manage all weekend graffiti removal operations, ensuring efficient and effective results. Under general supervision, leads and performs the more difficult and complex duties involving a variety of street, sewer, asphalt, parks, trees or facilities maintenance, repair and reconstruction work. Exercises functional and technical supervision over lower level maintenance staff.
