About The Position
The position involves refining the adaptation options database, conducting online research and literature reviews related to adaptation measures for various hazards, and coordinating with ICF staff who have expertise in transportation, energy, nature-based solutions, and disaster management. The role also includes coordinating with managers of the Climate Resilience Toolkit to facilitate necessary updates, supporting the refinement of other CSCI resources such as the funding and finance guide for community-level climate resilience, and supporting Monitoring, Evaluation, and Innovation (MEI) projects. This includes maintaining the metrics and indicators table and researching extreme events for adaptation measure effectiveness. Additionally, the position supports and implements a wide range of technology, research and development, and programmatic tasks for Science, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) programs for other federal clients, such as the National Science Foundation (NSF).
