About The Position

The Senior Public Policy Advisor to the Commissioner plays a crucial role in the Division of Insurance, reporting directly to the Commissioner of Insurance. This position is responsible for developing and recommending public policy initiatives related to insurance regulation in Massachusetts. The advisor will collaborate with senior staff and external stakeholders to address emerging policy issues and ensure the Division's regulatory duties are met effectively.

Requirements

• At least six years of professional experience in business administration, public administration, or related fields.
• Two years of experience in a project management, supervisory, or managerial capacity.
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance law and regulations.
• Experience dealing with high-level government officials.
