About The Position
This position is for Coalinga State Hospital. The Senior Psychiatric Technician (Safety) provides direction to nursing personnel and is responsible for directing the work of an 8-hour shift or an organized nursing unit; and relieves unit supervisors as required. Senior Psychiatric Technician (Safety) is responsible for providing direct nursing care, treatment, and rehabilitation to patients' providing direction to other personnel who assist them in providing such care; assisting physicians as directed; providing general psychiatric nursing care to patients; and participate in the overall psychiatric treatment program.
