About The Position

As a Senior Proposal Manager at Linde Engineering North America, you will evaluate proposal requests from both Linde Gas and external/third party clients for all product types and product lines. Your role will involve coordinating and developing base project scope, identifying appropriate engineering disciplines, and obtaining necessary resources to support the proposal effort. You will estimate expected proposal labor costs and schedules to aid in the justification for the bid/no-bid process. Additionally, you will coordinate with PlantServ and Linde Engineering skills/disciplines to develop engineered solutions that meet client requests. Leading proposal efforts, you will facilitate multi-organizational communication between engineering resources and client representatives, managing the supply of technical deliverables to meet client proposal expectations. You will collaborate with the proposal team to develop project execution strategies, compile cost books, and build preliminary project execution milestone schedules. Your responsibilities will also include developing formal proposal documentation, leading proposal challenge meetings with the PlantServ management team, summarizing and presenting commercial and technical aspects of approved proposals to stakeholders, and leading proposal handovers to the project execution team. You will be responsible for managing multiple overlapping efforts with short durations and critical deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the chemical industry.
• Ability to make strong technical decisions with limited information.
• Ability to make decisions based on feasibility, CAPEX/OPEX cost, TCO, and system integration.
• Awareness of Linde standards, guidelines, safety, and operability best practices.
• Innovative in developing and implementing engineered solutions.
• Effective communication skills, including excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 10%.
• Demonstrated ability to meet schedule deadlines.
