The Senior Proposal Coordinator at SAIC will play a crucial role in supporting proposal development and submission activities. This position involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful coordination of proposals, maintaining schedules, and facilitating communication among team members. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and offers a hybrid remote work option, with some travel to headquarters and classified workspaces.

  • Assist proposal managers in supervising the proposal process and planning high-quality responses to RFPs and Government solicitations.
  • Maintain the proposal schedule, configuration control of proposal files, and planning/control documents in accordance with RFP requirements.
  • Collaborate with personnel including subject matter experts, authors, and production staff to facilitate proposal development.
  • Support proposal managers with collaboration tools, user access, and artifact population.
  • Serve as the interface between the proposal team and production staff, providing guidance and status reports.
  • Identify and help resolve major writing and production problems proactively.
  • Facilitate desktop publishing, graphics, editing, and reproduction activities throughout the proposal lifecycle.
  • Support reviews with management and internal experts, including setting up reviews and preparing materials.
  • Assist in reviewing proposal artifacts for compliance and responsiveness to solicitation requirements.
  • Act as backup to the proposal manager when necessary.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience, or a Master's and 8+ years of experience, or a PhD/JD and 5+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in a defined proposal-related role.
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining proposal management artifacts such as outlines and compliance matrices.
  • Experience mentoring junior personnel and new hires.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse personality types and meet assignment demands.
  • Experience supporting local and virtual team members across various locations.
  • Ability to work efficiently with multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional.
  • Must be a US Citizen with a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience or familiarity with Virtual Proposal Center (VPC).
