About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential communities. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational performance, financial results, regulatory compliance, and team development while partnering closely with the Regional Director.

The ideal candidate brings strong affordable housing expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee multiple priorities including occupancy, resident relations, financial performance, compliance, and team mentorship.

Now offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days of employment in good standing.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience as a Senior Property Manager
• 5+ years of experience at the Property Manager level
• Strong experience with LIHTC, Section 8, and Public Housing programs required
• Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and affordable housing compliance
• Proven financial reporting, variance analysis, and budgeting experience
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across assigned properties
• Lead and support onsite staff, including payroll review, coaching, and performance management
• Manage rent collections, delinquencies, legal coordination, evictions, and financial reporting
• Create annual budgets and monitor expenses to ensure budget compliance
• Prepare properties for audits, inspections, owner visits, and agency reviews
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, LIHTC, Section 8, and Public Housing regulations
• Oversee leasing, marketing efforts, and occupancy goals
• Resolve resident concerns and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
• Respond to major property emergencies and escalation issues as required
