About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager with a strong background in affordable housing and property management compliance to oversee a portfolio of regulated communities. This role is responsible for day-to-day property operations, financial performance, and federal and state housing compliance, including LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, Rural Development, and HOME programs.

Requirements

• Affordable housing property management experience required
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, and HOME programs

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HIF, HUD, HOME, and applicable regulations
• Maintain tenant files, income certifications, recertifications, verifications, and waitlists
• Prepare for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
• Enforce Fair Housing, OSHA, MSDS, and safety policies
• Assist with annual budget preparation
• Monitor property financial performance and variances
• Review monthly financial statements
• Oversee rent collection, delinquencies, evictions, and bad debt
• Maintain occupancy goals within program requirements
• Oversee leasing, applications, and eligibility determinations
• Address resident concerns and lease violations
• Lead and support on-site teams
• Assist with hiring, training, and performance management
