About The Position

The Senior Projects Execution Manager will support the Joint Service Provider Enterprise Transport Management – Next-Gen (JSP ETM‑NG) program at GDIT, contributing to complex programs and leading efforts that drive mission success. This role serves as the primary point of contact and escalation lead for funded projects and task orders, managing scope, schedule, budget, and overall performance across customer‑based Project Portfolios and program areas. The manager will lead technical, administrative, and operational activities, including contract and subcontractor oversight, and supervise and guide technical and administrative staff. Key responsibilities include developing and reviewing project plans, proposals, schedules, estimates, reports, and program documentation, ensuring quality assurance of all deliverables, and coordinating product development across teams and vendors. The position requires attending customer meetings, acting as the primary liaison with senior leaders, vendors, partner agencies, and client stakeholders, and supporting business development. The manager will also conduct planning, provide workload recommendations, contribute to strategic initiatives, analyze project and program challenges, and implement solutions. The role supports all aspects of project and program execution from initiation through completion, ensuring communication, collaboration, and alignment across all DISA and broader portfolio activities, and involves preparing and presenting briefs, status reports, and technical reviews to leadership. Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies, cloud platforms, cybersecurity requirements, and enterprise architecture is also essential.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
  • 6+ years of related program or project management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience leading technical projects or Cloud Service Offerings, preferably with Microsoft 365, Azure, enterprise networks, PKI, zero‑trust architecture, and cloud operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer‑facing skills.
  • Experience managing and coordinating resources across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project; ability to work under pressure and balance competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of project/program management methodologies, Agile practices, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, mitigate risks, and support budget and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze project and program challenges and implement solutions related to scheduling, finance, technology, methodology, and risk.
  • Support all aspects of project and program execution—from initiation through completion—ensuring communication, collaboration, and alignment across all DISA and broader portfolio activities.
  • Prepare and present briefs, status reports, and technical reviews to leadership at all levels.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies, cloud platforms, cybersecurity requirements, and enterprise architecture.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
