About The Position

Eagle Enviromental Consulting is a leading provider of environmental consulting services in the retail petroleum industry. We are committed to providing top-tier, sustainable, and cost-effective environmental compliance and remediation services to our clients. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Scientist/Geologist to join our dynamic team. This role will combine technical expertise with project management and personnel management skills, providing you with an opportunity to lead projects and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with at least 5 years in a project management role, ideally within the retail petroleum/UST sector.
Experience in leading and managing environmental site assessments (Phase I/II), and environmental remediation projects.
Strong knowledge of petroleum-related environmental issues, including UST systems, soil and groundwater contamination, and vapor intrusion.
Knowledge of environmental regulatory frameworks and experience navigating complex environmental compliance issues.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to solving challenges.

Professional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Be the senior manager on a portfolio of environmental projects. Supervise and mentor project managers and junior staff, and maintain client relationships.
Oversee site assessments, remediation design and implementation, and ongoing monitoring.
Ensure projects and clients maintain compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Review and analyze environmental data and complete final review of technical reports and budgets.
Stay educated on changing regulations within the industry.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders. Communicate project progress, risks, and resolutions effectively.
Provide guidance and support to junior scientist, geologist, and project staff. Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes career development.
Prepare proposals and estimates.
Support miscellaneous projects.
