ARLANXEO has a new career opportunity available for a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer at our Orange Manufacturing site. As a Sr. Project Mechanical Engineer , you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary engineering projects through all phases of project development, from concept to commissioning in the safest and most cost-efficient manner and applying advanced engineering principles across disciplines such as mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and civil engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience engineering within a production or manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to lead and serve on problem solving teams related to project management and HAZOP.
  • Strong knowledge of piping and pressure vessels, ASME, and API standards.
  • Good interpersonal skills and must be highly proficient using a PC.
  • Experience in day-to-day equipment maintenance.
  • Organization and time-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct, facilitate and implement capital project efforts for the Orange Site.
  • Coordinate activities of all necessary ARLANXEO departments as well as outside CapEx & Contractor Services as required to accomplish objectives.
  • Communicate to Management new proposals, evaluations, and progress/status of current activities.
  • Report on status of assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, HSEQ, and Global Technology teams to develop detailed design packages, including P&ID mark‑ups, equipment sizing, material specifications, and utility/power requirements.
  • Partner closely with Contractor Services to ensure proper project execution, cost control, resource allocation, and adherence to construction specifications.
  • Prioritize safety in every phase of project development—ensuring systems, processes, and equipment are designed for safe and reliable operation from conceptual design through installation.
