About The Position

AECOM is actively seeking a self-driven and motivated Senior Project Manager with Civil Engineering experience to serve as a project manager on large Transportation Infrastructure projects, as well as a design manager on alternative delivery projects in the NY/NJ metro area. This role is based out of New York City. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Transportation Infrastructure within the New York City market, with strong relationships and experience working with prominent agencies such as the New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC). This role not only involves project management but also strategic business development to secure and deliver a diverse range of projects for public sector clients. Directs and manages the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout. Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering or similar field.
• 10 years of related project management experience on large-scale, high-profile, design build structures projects.
• Experience with NYCDDC.
• Professional Engineer License in New York State.
