Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Places Infrastructure group in Los Angeles, CA. This position is located on site at one of our key clients down town LA.   • Manage a team of Program Managers overseeing all aspects of project planning and development in programs, including Engineering and Construction.
  • Oversee the review, analysis, and interpretations of complex project design and construction budgets, schedules, and costs.
  • Manage project planners in developing projects' scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Guide funding strategies for each of the projects and subprograms within a program.
  • Manage the resolution of cost overruns through value engineering.
  • Present executive reports to stakeholders and approve new projects in specific programs as required.
  • Oversee the financial closeout of programs by Program Managers.
  • Track compliance in accordance with the guidelines of the funding sources.
  • Oversee the provision of necessary documentation for closed-out projects under litigation.
  • Implement recommendations for areas requiring improvement, including program reporting and process.
  • Recommend solutions to technically complex issues for architects, engineers, and/or other lower-level project managers.
  • Manage the formulation of policies and procedures related to Construction Programs.
  • Oversee community and stakeholder communications regarding high profile projects.
  • Manage lessons learned for all programs and develop trainings to staff for program and project improvements.
  • Minimum fifteen years full time professional experience in the management and administration of various programs and projects.
  • Minimum six years' experience in managing programs in a public or educational agency.
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree, preferably in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
