About The Position

WeatherTech is seeking a well-qualified Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end development and launch of automotive, pet, and home products. This role is responsible for leading the project management team overseeing complex, cross-functional programs from concept through production and go-to-market execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and demonstrates exceptional resilience, adaptability, and composure under shifting priorities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of project/program management experience in automotive, consumer products, or related industries
  • Proven experience managing complex product development cycles, preferably in automotive accessories or aftermarket products
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (injection molding, thermoforming, metals, textiles, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with external contacts as well as internal departments within the company
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or entrepreneur-led organizations is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product management team overseeing at least one direct report
  • Manage full lifecycle project management for multiple concurrent programs
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and sales teams
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-cost delivery
  • Proactively identify risks, constraints, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies
  • Serve as the central point of communication for project status, escalations, and decision-making
  • Translate high-level direction into clear, actionable plans for execution teams
  • Manage tooling, prototyping, validation, and production readiness milestones
  • Ensure product quality, performance, and manufacturability standards are met
  • Support go-to-market planning including packaging, pricing, and launch readiness
  • Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and reporting structures
  • Communicate clearly and work as part of a team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
