Software is an integral part in realizing this vision and we are hiring a software manager to play a leadership role shaping our future. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager/Sr Project Manager to lead the deployment of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across various sites. This role involves managing all phases of construction projects from planning, permitting execution, closeout while ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience. Some barriers to entry exist at this level, requiring department review.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, permitting processes, utility coordination, and
  • project scheduling.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Site Tracker, MS Project, Excell).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience with EV charging technologies and standards
  • Proficient in project scheduling, tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with NEC, ADA, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for EV charging station installations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and local authorities to ensure smooth execution.
  • Oversee site assessments, utility coordination, and civil/electrical construction activities.
  • Serve as the primary construction point of contact for project stakeholders including site hosts, municipalities, and vendors.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively to leadership and partners.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Enforce safety standards and conduct regular site inspections.
  • Monitor, update, and maintain accurate project schedules and ensure schedule adherence by all assigned team members.
  • Monitor construction quality and ensure installations meet technical specifications and performance standards.
  • Manage punch lists and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies.
  • Track project costs and manage change orders.
  • Review and approve invoices
  • Optimize resource allocation and identify cost-saving opportunities.
