We are a leading ERP software and solutions provider to dealers and rental companies of heavy equipment. We specialize in working with the construction, mining, forestry, material handling, and agriculture industries. We aim to be the ERP thought leader in our space and a trusted IT advisor to all dealers and rental companies. Today, we have over 750 employee associates, offices on four continents, and customers in over 20 countries. We are privately held, and our headquarters are in beautiful Cary, NC. We are actively seeking talented individuals to join our team and help us aggressively grow our North American footprint for both our on-premises and 100% cloud-based ERP solutions. Position Overview The Senior Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for the client and all employees involved in the implementation process. Coordinates and ensures the successful and timely implementation of complex heavy equipment projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience
  • Proven in-depth knowledge of Project Management disciplines and work experience on large-scale projects/programs with a successful delivery record
  • Experience managing IT software development projects for 10+ years
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or in-process

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience installing DMS or ERP systems
  • Expertise with project management software (e.g., MS Project) and collaboration/productivity tools (OpenAir, SharePoint, OneNote, MS Teams)
  • Willing to travel (up to 10%)

Responsibilities

  • Lead/manage project teams in delivering implementation projects on time and within budget
  • Coordinate with client and internal organizations to resource plan for projects
  • Ensure project results align with customer objectives and contract deliverables
  • Establish project plans, including work breakdown structures and supporting tasks and deliverables with clear ownership, maintain schedule, and adjust as required to keep the project on track
  • Outstanding communication with customers/clients and internally at all levels of the organization
  • Track project plans, milestones, and deliverable status and assess any impacts changes will have on cost, resourcing, and schedules
  • Work with supporting teams to coordinate risk mitigation and action plans to address project and program issues as they arise
  • Provide timely and accurate status updates to project stakeholders, sponsors, and management
  • Establish and maintain strong client/customer relationships
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team
  • Direct and engage the work of product implementation consultants
  • Identify and successfully resolve conflicts/priorities within the team
