The Senior Project Manager will lead cross-functional technology, integration, and operational initiatives that drive strategic growth and efficiency across FirstClose. This role requires a proactive, organized, and collaborative leader who can manage complex projects, automate and streamline project management processes, and enhance PMO reporting capabilities. You will play a key role in ensuring project delivery excellence, supporting process maturity within the PMO, and partnering closely with technology, operations, product, and client-facing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably within FinTech, SaaS, or financial services industries.
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional technology or integration projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Experience with project management and reporting tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or Power BI).
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certification.
  • Experience implementing PMO frameworks or reporting dashboards.
  • Background in automation tools or process optimization initiatives.
  • Understanding of mortgage lending, HELOC, or home equity processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver projects: Manage end-to-end execution of technology, integration, and operational projects, ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with internal teams, executives, and external partners to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and achieved.
  • PMO process improvement: Drive the automation of project management workflows, templates, and reporting dashboards to increase efficiency and visibility.
  • Reporting and governance: Develop and maintain standardized PMO reporting on project status, risks, benefits, and resource utilization for executive leadership.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely issue resolution.
  • Risk and change management: Identify potential risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and manage change effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentorship and leadership: Support the PMO’s growth by sharing best practices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Vendor and integration oversight: Coordinate with third-party technology providers and clients to ensure successful integration and implementation projects.
