Senior Project Manager - Architecture (Retail) Studio - Irvine Retail This growing studio is dedicated to changing the structure and face of retail in response to how people want to shop, dine and enjoy themselves in the public sphere. A highly collaborative team whose work often intersects with that of others; Irvine Retail, with their people-first design ethos, lends its expertise to mixed use, high density, commercial and public-facing developments. What makes this team most valuable is an acute understanding of how retail can respond to changing market trends to receive the best possible response. This studio can often be found at a team lunch or birthday celebration. Your Impact KTGY's Senior Project Manager has a deep knowledge of bringing the project vision and story into reality. The Senior Project Manager often works on more complex and challenging projects and has completed multiple projects as a Project Manager in their career. The Senior Project Manager is often a resource for many and is frequently involved in various larger studio initiatives. Your Role At KTGY, your career should be as thoughtfully designed as the spaces you create. We’re committed to nurturing passionate talent and guiding growth within the following four key aspects of our practice: Design Demonstrates facility in effectively managing both small and large scale projects. Anticipates key architectural details that are critical to the architectural language of the project. Is able to take over projects that may be "sideways" and get them back on course. Collaboration Acts as a collegial resource for managers and a backstop for complicated design and code-oriented situations. Is comfortable and successful meeting with AHJ's and related departments have purview over projects. Is willing to tactfully push for desirable outcomes in situations in which code may be subject to interpretation. Care Supports staff development and heads off conflicts within the studio. Regularly coordinates with Directors and leaders to ensure a healthy work culture. Partnership Demonstrates excellent is representing both firm and client interests through the entire project design process. Ensures that the best clients become repeat clients for the firm.
