About The Position

Sperton Global AS, a global recruitment and consulting firm with entities across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, is hiring a Senior Project Manager for large-scale CAPEX projects. This is a full-time, site-based role located in Dallas, Texas, requiring travel based on project needs. Role Overview The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of commercial electrical construction projects, from bid through completion and closeout. This role oversees planning, execution, financial performance, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale CAPEX projects
  • Strong background in commercial electrical construction
  • Experience managing full project lifecycle from bid to closeout
  • Proficiency in construction management and estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid)
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively across teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-construction efforts including bid preparation, contractor coordination, and contract negotiations
  • Define project scope, budgets, schedules, and performance benchmarks
  • Oversee all phases of commercial electrical construction projects, ensuring alignment with design, quality, and safety standards
  • Manage Superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams to drive project execution
  • Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and adjust plans to maintain schedule and cost targets
  • Manage change orders, cost impacts, and scope adjustments
  • Oversee procurement, material planning, and site logistics
  • Maintain project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, reports, and cost tracking
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure adherence to OSHA and company policies
