Are you ready to design your future? Be our next Senior Project Manager. Your work environment at EXP In this role you will be a part of the infrastructure group in the Northeast market. We are an entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary firm of approximately 5,000 professionals across North America with a history of successfully delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects across North America. We are currently looking to grow and enhance our transit, rail control systems, structural, roadway, and tunneling practices and are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Project Manager to work in our New York City office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline preferred, or equivalent commensurate work experience
  • 10+ years of MEP and MTA and Rapid Transit experience
  • MicroStation , AutoCAD and REVIT MEP proficient
  • New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting firms engineering quality levels for discipline on assigned projects.
  • Oversees development of design concepts by Designers and ensure proper application and execution.
  • Verifies work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings.
  • Mentors and encourages development of staff.
  • Responsible for applying firms risk management practices of project engineering.
  • Leads the discipline design to produce construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget while minimizing erroneous efforts.
  • Pursue opportunities in the local market and support national pursuits as needed
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Work with other senior staff within Infrastructure & Transportation and other practices groups, as necessary, to pursue and deliver a variety of projects
  • Serve as EXP’s Project Manager on a wide variety of related projects
  • Maintain project schedules and manage project financials including profit/loss for projects.
  • Coordinate staff required for internal project teams, including directing, coordinating, and reviewing work by others
  • Perform design computations, oversee report, plan and specification development and sign and seal construction documents as necessary
  • Oversee and approve invoicing/billing and manage project scope and secure change orders as necessary
  • Act as EXP’s representative with the client and teaming partners
  • Assist in the preparation of proposal and presentations for project pursuits
