Senior Project Manager
About The Position
Our client, a mid-sized contract manufacturer with DoD and medical device contracts, is seeking a full-time onsite Senior Project Manager who ensure predictable delivery, cost control, and on-time execution of multidisciplinary electronics-based NPD and NPI projects. As Senior Project Manager , you will act as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, driving project success through strong technical leadership and cross-functional coordination. Working within our PMO structure, you will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk for high-impact projects while mentoring other project managers and contributing to the continuous improvement of PMO processes.
Requirements
- 5–10 years managing complex technical projects (electronics preferred)
- Strong understanding of NPD/NPI and manufacturing processes (DFM/DFT, V&V)
- Experience in regulated industries (medical devices highly preferred)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Applicants either be U.S. Citizens or have a Green Card.
Nice To Haves
- PMP or similar certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex product development projects
- Serve as the primary customer contact, managing expectations and communication
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain
- Build and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risks
- Drive execution from concept through manufacturing transfer
- Mentor project managers and contribute to PMO best practices
