Senior Project Manager - Commercial Roofing
About The Position
Allcon Roofing is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-value commercial roofing projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is a turnkey, senior-level position ideal for an experienced construction professional with deep expertise in commercial roofing systems. The ideal candidate will be ready to take full ownership of complex project portfolios immediately-bringing a hands-on leadership style, exceptional project controls, and a commitment to quality and accountability. This role is based in the Upstate region and will support projects across the Southeastern U.S. You will serve as the central leader on-site and off, collaborating with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success while mentoring other project team members and reinforcing Allcon's high standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in commercial roofing project management or related construction leadership
- Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, assemblies, and construction processes
- Proven ability to lead complex projects with minimal oversight
- Strong financial management, scheduling, and risk mitigation skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Familiarity with construction project management platforms and tools
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- OSHA training and safety leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution from preconstruction to final punch list
- Manage project financials: budgets, forecasts, billings, SOVs, and cost control
- Supervise project teams, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors
- Monitor site safety and quality compliance
- Maintain communication with clients, provide regular updates, and address any concerns
- Coordinate materials procurement, deliveries, and logistics
- Track schedule adherence and drive field productivity
- Manage change orders and ensure all documentation is timely and accurate
- Utilize project management software for scheduling, reporting, and documentation
