Position Overview Prepared is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own customer implementations end to end, with a core goal: reduce time to customer value. This role sits at the intersection of Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering. You will lead onboarding and implementation projects for Prepared customers, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex, cross-functional work. You are accountable for ensuring customers go live quickly, predictably, and with confidence. You’ll help define how implementation is delivered at scale while directly impacting customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience leading customer implementations or delivery-focused projects, ideally in B2B SaaS or a technical environment.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional work and external stakeholders.
  • Strong execution mindset. You bias toward action and outcomes, not process for process’s sake.
  • Clear, direct communicator who keeps teams and customers aligned.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure as you go.
  • Experience with tools like Asana, Linear, Smartsheet, Notion, or similar.
  • You are naturally curious and continuously seek ways to improve processes, efficiency, and outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical Fluency: Familiarity with software development processes, APIs, or product management practices.
  • Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in B2B SaaS, govtech, healthcare, or telecommunications.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer implementations: Lead onboarding and implementation projects from handoff to go-live, ensuring customers realize value as quickly as possible.
  • Reduce time to value: Build and manage project plans that prioritize speed, clarity, and delivery without sacrificing quality.
  • Be the single point of accountability: Coordinate across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Support to align dependencies and resolve blockers.
  • Run customer-facing execution: Lead kickoff calls, status updates, and delivery checkpoints with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage risk and scope: Identify risks early, manage changes, and keep projects moving forward.
  • Create predictability: Set clear timelines, ownership, and communication standards that reduce friction and perceived chaos.
  • Improve implementation operations: Help define tools, workflows, and documentation that scale customer delivery.
