Health IT Project Manager (VA Agile Programs)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Health IT Project Manager to lead agile software development initiatives supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing VA IT projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with VA processes, tools, and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing Health IT or federal IT projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Strong working knowledge of agile software development methodologies
• Experience with VA reporting, QASP updates, and APDS resource management
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Haves

• PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification
• Familiarity with VA systems, governance processes, and federal contracting environments

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee agile software development projects for VA health IT programs
• Plan and facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Create, maintain, and submit monthly sprint status reports in accordance with VA requirements
• Update and manage the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and related performance metrics
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of project resources using the VA APDS system
• Serve as the primary point of contact between VA stakeholders, development teams, and contractors
• Ensure deliverables meet VA standards, timelines, and compliance requirements
