About The Position

We are hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead high-end Landlord Projects and Specialty Commercial Interiors throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a senior, client-facing leadership role requiring deep industry expertise, strong project controls, and the ability to guide teams through complex, design-driven construction environments. The ideal candidate brings a hybrid background in project management and design, holding a degree in Architecture or Commercial Interiors and having progressed through hands-on roles in both design and construction. You will manage multiple fast-paced interior fit-outs and landlord scope projects, ensuring excellence from pre-construction through close-out.

Requirements

  • 15–20 years of construction project management experience (commercial interiors, corporate fit-outs, landlord work)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Commercial Interiors, or related design field (required)
  • Progressive, hands-on career path through both design and construction roles
  • Proven success managing multiple complex, fast-paced projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Expertise in budgeting, scheduling software, and field operations
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area with availability for regular on-site work

Responsibilities

  • Lead full project lifecycle for commercial interiors and landlord-driven scopes
  • Drive project strategy, schedule, logistics, and execution
  • Oversee contract negotiations, vendor coordination, and subcontractor management
  • Maintain proactive, transparent communication with clients and design partners
  • Anticipate project needs, provide solutions, and uphold design intent
  • Manage budget development, cost tracking, and forecasting
  • Mitigate risk through accurate scheduling, procurement planning, and scope management
  • Ensure precise documentation, RFIs, change orders, and close-out packages
  • Direct and mentor APMs, Superintendents, and field teams
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and safety-focused culture
  • Champion rigorous QA/QC standards throughout all phases
  • Ensure compliance with permitting, commercial building codes, and safety requirements
